ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To comprehensi vely evaluate the application progress of network pharmacology methods in TCM compound prescription research ,and to provide reference for modernization of TCM compound prescription research. METHODS : Taking“network pharmacology ”and“TCM compound prescription ”as keywords ,the literatures were retrieved from CNKI , Wanfang database and VIP during May 2006 to May 2020. Screening literature ,the databases ,analysis platforms ,and software used of the literature were summarized ;on the basis of quantitative analysis ,the application of network pharmacology in the research of traditional Chinese medicine compound were summarized. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS :There were a total of 761 valid literatures ,among which the number of literatures that could be retrieved in 2019 reached 313. In the modernization research of TCM compound prescription ,network pharmacology methods were mainly usedmechanism ,material basis of pharmacodynamics , compatibility law ,compound optimization ,and“effect-toxic”network. Commonly used databasesand platforms included traditional chinese medicine information database (TCMSP and TCMID ),therapeutic target database (TTD,OMIM),drug targets and target prediction platform (Drugbank,SwissTargetPrediction,TargetNet,PharmMapper),network pharmacology analysis and prediction software and platform (CytoScape),etc. Network pharmacology method was widely used in the field of TCM compound prescription research ,and provided new ideas and methods for the modernization of TCM compound prescription research. In the future, the related research can be combined with the pharmacokinetic parameters ,the efficacy of active compounds and related basic experiments ,use the weighted method to carry out network pharmacology analysis ,and integrate the information of multiple databases to improve the scientificity of research results.

ABSTRACT

Nanotechnology has been widely used in the field of pharmaceutics. In recent years, research projects related to nanotechnology account for a high proportion (nearly 90%) in the application and funded projects of pharmaceutics (application code is H3408) of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). In addition, there are many other research directions in the field of pharmaceutics. This paper makes statistics and analysis on the research projects of pharmaceutics without nanotechnology funded by NSFC from 2001 to 2020, so as to provide reference for the pharmaceutical researchers to reasonably choose research direction.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the projects on the infectious disease epidemiology sponsored by the National Natural Sci?ence Foundation of China(NSFC),explore the hotspot and development trend, and offer a reference for researchers in this field. Methods Based on the NSFC database, the projects on the infectious disease epidemiology(H2609)sponsored from 1987 to 2014 were analyzed. The changes of fund numbers, amounts and research fields were described. Results During the study period,NSFC sponsored 373 projects, including 228 general projects(61.1%),78 youth projects(20.9%)and 67 other projects(18.0%). The average amount of the grant was 358.2 thousand Yuan(20 thousand?8 million). The main sponsored re?search fields were mechanisms of pathogen and immunity(36.2%)and population?based epidemiological studies(33.0%). The top three diseases were hepatitis,HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. Conclusion The amount of funding on researches of infectious disease epidemiology has increased continuously, which has played an important role in training scientific talents in the field of prevention and control of infectious diseases.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: We aimed to assess the distribution of research design, type, field and classification for the articles published in Korean Journal of Gynecologic Oncology and Colposcopy during recent 15 years. METHODS: A total of 473 papers published in Korean Journal of Gynecologic Oncology and Colposcopy from 1990 to 2004 were reviewed for retrospective descriptive analysis. First, all papers were analyzed according to the design, type, field of study. Then they were classified again depending on specific topics under the criteria used in science citation index journal, "Gynecologic Oncology". Articles presented at symposia were excluded from this analysis. RESULTS: We observed that distribution in study design showed the inclination toward case series study (71.7%) and case report (26.8%). To the contrary, the numbers of cohort study and randomized controlled trial were five and one, respectively. The distributions of articles were 321 in survey, 6 in experiment, 7 in clinical trial. There were 12 articles belonging to overview of secondary research. Secondary classification based on study field revealed 108 articles in causation, 82 in diagnosis, 73 in therapy as descending order. There were 80 articles of molecular biology including immunology and tumor suppressor genes, 66 articles of cervical cancer, and 36 articles of epithelical ovarian cancer. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that the reports on Korean Journal of Gynecologic Oncology and Colposcopy are mainly converged to case series studies in the design of study and survey in the type of study.

ABSTRACT

This study was conducted to identify the important research fields and areas for solving current and future health care problems in Korea and to develop priorities in selected research fields and areas. Delphi technique was used to collect expert's opinion. Questionnaire surveys were carried out three rounds, and 29 panel members were invited. From second questionnaire survey, we proposed the median value of score and respondent's score in each item. Prevalence, seriousness and manageability were the main criteria to select the research fields and areas and in priority setting. In health fields, 20 research fields were selected and population, family planning, and environmental pollution were the most important research fields among them. In each research field, several research areas were selected. Because our study had 85 research areas, the priority of research areas was selected in each research fields.
